Job Requirements of Youth Educator:
- Provide support to all students in the classroom
- Provide instructional reinforcement under the direction of the classroom teacher for individual students and/or small groups of students
- Monitor students in the classroom and non-classroom settings in the school with daily routine
- Helping children with special needs
- Meet needs of the students
- Helping students with special needs reach full potential
- Assist students during academic enrichment activities
- Creating an orderly classroom environment collaborates with the classroom teacher to provide effective individual and group instruction
- Support the teacher's classroom expectations/discipline rules
- Play an important role in the special education classroom and serve as the right-hand to a special education teacher
- Assist students and teachers with behavior management, and/or administrative duties
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional, behavior management, and/or administrative duties

Youth Educator
Currently we are seeking Paraprofessionals or Teaching Assistants who are interested in working in the Classroom with Elementary or School Aged Children during the school day. The position offers the ability to work one-on-one or with a group of children supporting the teacher in the classroom. Each position offers opportunity for growth within the school district, and a great way to get your foot into the door of a local school district making up to $18.00 per hour to start!
